The Direction removes permitted development rights for development consisting of the change of use of a building or land within its curtilage from a use falling within Class C3 (Dwellinghouses) of the Schedule to the Town and Country Planning (Use Classes) Order 1987 (as amended) to a use falling within Class C4 (house in multiple occupation) of that Schedule being development comprised within Class L (b) of Part 3 of Schedule 2 of the Order and not being development within any other class. ... Subject to confirmation by the council, the Direction shall come into effect on 30 June 2027.
